How and when did you pick San Antonio for your snowbird race?

My family loves San Antonio! The river walk is amazing, and it’s warm in November. But really, I wanted to get another solid marathon under my belt before trying Boston again next year. So, I figured that was a good time to do one so that I could take a couple months “off” before starting to train for Boston. Are you looking for a good race around that time?

I was looking for tips to accomplish the same goal and stumbled upon your page! Did my first half May 8 in Lake anna VA and grabbed second in my age group! You should see if you can get into the national halfmax long course race this October 2nd in Myrtle beach. The top 16 in each age group qualify for team usa 2011 in Las Vegas. Thought you might be interested!

Thanks so much for this link Ryan! I will have to try to qualify by time at Branson 70.3 to get into that race in order to qualify! My other goal is to do the 70.3 world championships in Clearwater, Florida. Are you trying to qualify for that or kona?
