Prior to being asked to attend this event, I hadn’t even heard of MotoGP, and therefore had no idea what it was. Obviously, I immediately googled it, to find out it was motorcycle racing. Not something I’m up to date on but was excited to do something new and different.
Fellow Oakley Women ambassador, Kim Doll and I, bunked it up in Monterey Bay, CA and hung out with the Rolling O Lab folk for the weekend at Laguna Seca race track. This was quite the spectacle, especially for people watching. We saw it ALL. From promo girls in head to toe leather and over the knee high heeled boots, to girl’s rocking bikini tops with jeans, and of course the folk who are wearing clothes that are way too small for them. Don’t get me wrong the crowd and the event rocked but it came with some characters.
I took a prop plane from San Diego to Monterey. Can’t remember the last time I’d been on a “puddle jumper”, as my friend Courtney calls them.
