You are an inspiration for so many who want to do what you are doing.
As a personal trainer I work with many aspiring adults who want to change their lives through fitness. It is not easy, but you are a shining example that they just need to have a goal and work towards it!
All the best to you in achieving your training goals.
Love your blog! I can certainly relate to your post about getting on a bike; I’m signed up for the Napervill Women’s Tri on June 12 and I STILL don’t have a bike! Yikes. Hoping lots of time on the spin bike will pay off.
I will also be doing Bigfoot, very excited for that race! Hope to see you out there sometime!
pretty interesting blog; and a GREAT GOAL TO BECOME PRO!!!!
I’m actually training for my first IM (wisconsin) barely have time with my hectic schedule, and trying to maintain a relationship (that, trust me will be the hardest thing to do….). checked your blog out of the iamtri website. there’s a gp of us who ride out on weekends (most of them have a couple of IMs under their belt) and they push me pretty hard. each of us has a strength, and you can try to train with each of us on his strong point. keep me posted if you are interested in joining (particularly the rides) you need the company on those long rides…..

Thank you! You are going to rock IM WI. Training in between work and a relationship, social life, etc. is definitely hard, but always worth it when you cross the finish line!
